There are 3 ways to advertise on "RochesterNYsites.com" -- as a "Page Listing Ad", as a "Featured Guide Listing" or as a store on the "Rochester Mall" subsite. Below details "Mall Advertising".

Mall Advertising
To advertise:
Submit your request via email, specifying your store/business website and its URL that you would like to link over to from the mall. Each store/business website is reviewed within 48 hours of receipt, subject to mall management approval prior to prepayment in accordance with the "General Policy" stated below.
Within 48 hours, an "approval" or "rejection" email is sent. If approved, the store/business will be required to submit the following 3 items, along with the specified prepayment (based upon the advertising option selected, the rate and duration desired) in the form of a certified check, business check or money order, via U.S. Mail to: System Concepts of Rochester, P.O. Box 16286, Rochester, NY 14616.
(No credit or debit cards are accepted.)
Identify what type of advertising you would like
- "Specific Category Store Listing" : providing specific category targeting with a linking icon button and short store/business description. Advertisements on each mall category page are alphabetically ordered by store/business name.
- "Mall Main Page-Left Column" : providing mall entrance visibility with a linking icon button.
- "Across All Categories-Left Column" : providing visibility across all 18 categories with a linking icon button.
Provide an icon image (as either a "gif" or a "jpeg" file) no larger than 125 pixels (wide) by 125 pixels (height).
If the "Specific Category Page Listing" option is selected, then provide a short store/business description, limited up to a maximum of 400 characters (including spaces and special characters, but no HTML).
You will be notified via email that ad is uploaded. This email notification shall serve as the starting date which begins the prepaid duration requested for advertising.
It is the responsibility of the store/business owner to have verified the accuracy of the link submitted for icon button linking. We reserve the right to levy a 25% surcharge to change or correct a bad link.
If you do not have an icon button, we can create one for an additional $100 charge, which must be included with the prepayment.
NOTE: If, during the prepaid period, the products/services of the store/business website change and no longer support the "General Policy" as stated below, the mall management shall have sole discretion to unilaterally remove all references (i.e.; the linking icon button and any associated decription) of that store/business from the mall and the store/business shall then forfeit the remainder of the prepaid period.
A minimum of 3 months is requires for all mall advertising, and up to 12 months in 3 month increments. Rates are discounted by 10% for 6 and 9 month terms, and by 20% for the 12 month term.

We reserve the right to censor, re-classify, revise, edit, discontinue hosting or reject any advertisement or web site not meeting our standards for acceptance; this includes but is not limited to advertisements/sites which contain illegal or offensive content, content of a sexual nature, advertisements/sites which drain the system resources and advertisements/sites which are purposefully inflammatory or are used for slanderous means. We do not knowingly accept advertisements that discriminate or intend to discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, or familial status.
